This home original was a semi-detached house build in the 1950’s, located in a cul de sac with an interesting house shape of a parallelogram whose smaller side faces the street. This allowed us to design and build something that was in keeping with the streetscape but contemporary to the rear from the garden. The clients brief was to get as much natural light into the house and generous open plan layout in the living areas to the rear onto the landscaped gardens.
